Michael Ustinoff
Michael is the CEO and Chief Remote Pilot at Must Technology, where his previous experience in the building industry is harmoniously interwoven with his enthusiasm for the sciences, history, and archaeology. His desire to explore the unknown and push the bounds of what is possible, coupled with his passion for discovery, have driven him. Michael moved from the construction section to establish Must Photography, where his passion for capturing natural and built environments was honed to the highest professional standard. It was during that time that he discovered the enormous potential new technologies offered in the area of geospatial mapping. He was hooked on a new vision of synchronicity and innovation in the use of technology in the specialised domains of 3D laser scanning and multispectral photography. With Michael at the helm, Must Technology is focused on delivering exceptional services to businesses and industries to support their visions and goals by discovering the past, acknowledging the present, and shaping the future. Through his guidance, every commission is transformed into a journey of discovery.
Melissa Lacey
Melissa, is a multi-talented member of Must Technology. She’s both a competent remote pilot and Chief Financial Manager. Melissa’s blend of technical prowess and financial expertise is a cornerstone of our operations. Her Bachelor of Commerce degree anchors her strong financial acumen, from meticulous budgeting and financial planning to precise reporting. In the field, Melissa's expertise shines as she effortlessly operates and maintains drones for a variety of applications. Her extensive experience ensures safe and efficient mission execution, while her deep understanding of drone technology and regulations allows her to skilfully navigate the operational complexities in an ever-evolving airspace. Melissa's dedication to excellence is evident in every aspect of her work. Her ability to infuse financial strategies with operational insights helps drive our sustainable growth and success.
Steve Venn
Steve brings a diverse range of skills and qualifications to our team, including expertise in drone piloting, hovercraft operations, and CASA testing through his collaboration with Global Drone Solutions. As our lead hovercraft Pilot, Steve plays a crucial role in executing projects with precision and professionalism. His extensive experience as a drone pilot and trainer enables him to train and qualify other pilots, ensuring safe and efficient operations. This expertise is matched only by his strong capabilities in hovercraft operations, developed through his company, Hoverservices Australia. Steve’s expert input expands our capabilities and allows us to provide cutting-edge solutions in the field. Dr. Julie Ustinoff
Dr. Julie Ustinoff is our Operations Manager—a thinker, a strategist, and a cornerstone of our organizational structure. Dr. Ustinoff, has developed a rich and profound understanding of complex systems through her PhD studies and government design work. She is highly experienced at research and analysis, formulating insights and delivering data-driven solutions to projects to deliver successful outcomes Her deep insights into human dynamics and her systemic approach to tackling operational challenges have been integral to shaping our operational strategy.
